HaRIS is located at a serene and safe environment at Oyarifa High Tension behind the Rehoboth Courts Estate in the La-Nkwantanang Municipality, Accra-Ghana. The school is surrounded with beautiful natural vegetation, a police post and residential apartments with no commercial activities or highway crossing to ensure the safety and conducive environment for learning.
The school has modem, safe and standard buildings, playgrounds and other facilities that are accessible to all Learners irrespective of the age.
Features and facilities in our school include;
- Classrooms to accommodate smaller class sizes.
- A well-stocked ICT laboratory.
- A large auditorium for Learners gathering.
- A well stocked infirmary with trained health attendants.
- A boarding house with self-contained rooms that accommodate a maximum of four (4) Learners per room with house mistress/masters and mothers.
- School buses to shuttle day Learners to and fro as well as shuttling Learners on educational trips.
- A well-equipped Montessori Centre for early grade learners.
- A spacious eatery with a clean school kitchen that serves delicious meals for Learners.
- The school has a 24/7 water flow (Bore hole) and a electricity plant as a back up
- The school has 24/7 Wireless internet coverage.
Emphasis must be made of our modern classrooms: they are spacious, well-ventilated, fully air conditioned, CCTV cameras installed, television sets for audio-visual teaching and learning, comfortable and durable chairs and tables, decorated walls with attractive teaching learning resources (TLRs) and cubicles for keeping books and materials safe.
Addition to the above, HaRIS has a very large school compound with two lawn parks (the Kings Park and the Queens Park). These are spacious and shaded areas that are landscaped to provide a safe contact with nature for Learners; educational adventure. It is both a playing area and outdoor learning center. The entire environment is CCTV protected.
